Noreen Shaughnessy-Benford

Noreen Shaughnessy-Benford has been the proprietor of her own company,  Shaughnessy Office Solutions, LLC d/b/a SOS Orlando, since 2006, which offers office management solutions, including full-charge bookkeeping, payroll, invoicing, collections, and firm administration, to small law firms as  well as being the Administrator for the Central Florida Bankruptcy Law Association.  Ms. Shaughnessy-Benford has detailed experience in the  legal profession, as: (1) a litigation paralegal in New York City; (2) a litigation secretary for Baker & Hostetler, LLP in Orlando for 13  years; and (3) a Paralegal Bank Closing Assistant for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. As a testament to her hard work and  dedication, Ms. Shaughnessy-Benford received her AS in Business from Valencia Community College while working for Baker & Hostetler, LLP,  graduating with a 4.0 grade point average and a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.

I have been doing books and records for small law firms since 2006.  I love what I do.  My 20+ years legal background, coupled with my 10+ years of bookkeeping, has given me the necessary tools to help any small law firm with their books and records and day-to-day operations.


Depending on my clients' needs, I can work either virtually from my home office or on-site at my clients' offices.
